  Rhiana Tehan is entering her fourth year at Milwaukee High School of the Arts. She graduated from Alverno College, December 2000 earning her Bachelor or Arts conferred with Honors and a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. This year Rhiana is a co-cheerleading coach for the Pulaski Rams basketball team, which serves MHSA and Pulaski students. Rhiana has ten years of teaching experience and is proud to work amongst such great staff at MHSA.instructor's page

  James Bruss is a writer, performance poet, journalist, amateur filmmaker, avid reader, lyricist, and  singer. He also teaches Creative Writing and English to 10th grade students at MHSA. James earned his bachelor's degree in English with emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Teaching Certificate from Concordia University in Mequon, WI.  Mr. Bruss is the coach of the MHSA Spiders Poetry Slam Team, who are the reigning MPS Poetry Slam League Champs. He is currently the lead singer and lyricist for a Milwaukee rock band. James is entering his fifth year as a teacher and his fifth year at MHSA.
